Most of the people who will buy from you on Black Friday have bought from you before. How to put your offer on their TVs the week before Thanksgiving, from about $26 a day.

Most of the people who will buy from a small business on Black Friday have bought from it before. So the question is not how to reach new shoppers on the busiest weekend of the year. It is how to be the first name your own customers think of when they decide where to spend. For years the answer was an email and a social post, because TV took weeks to book and sold the whole market whether you needed it or not.
That has changed. AdLever is a self-serve streaming TV and display advertising platform: a business uploads its customer list or builds an audience of the households it wants, and its ads run on Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Roku and the other streaming services those households watch, starting at about $26 a day. A Black Friday campaign can be built in an afternoon and be on TV a full week before Thanksgiving.
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026. This guide covers what Black Friday advertising on streaming TV looks like for a small business: why it works, how to set it up on AdLever with or without a customer list, what to put in the ad, what it costs, and how to carry the same campaign through Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
Black Friday TV ads used to belong to big-box retailers because broadcast TV sells the whole market. A small business does not need the whole market. It needs the people who already know it, and the people nearby who look like them. Streaming TV ads are bought that way, and four things follow.
Your customers are the audience. Every email list, loyalty program, booking system and point-of-sale export is a list of households. AdLever matches that list to the TVs in those homes (90%+ average match rate) and shows your ad only to them. A TV spot in a customer’s living room the week before Black Friday carries more weight than one more promotional email in an inbox full of them.
You pay for your neighborhood, not the whole metro area. Streaming TV ads on AdLever are bought by the household, so a store with one location pays to reach the ZIP codes it draws from and nothing beyond them. A boutique, a furniture store, a restaurant selling gift cards, a gym or a med spa can run a Black Friday offer on TV without paying to reach three counties of people who will never visit.
The right households see it more than once. Because the audience is small and specific, the budget buys repetition instead of reach. A household that sees your offer three or four times in the week before Thanksgiving knows where it is going on Friday morning. A national retailer cannot afford that frequency against every home in America. You can afford it against the few thousand that matter.
You can launch this week. The reason Black Friday advertising for small businesses has stayed on social and email is speed. Streaming TV on AdLever is now the same speed. Audience, creative and campaign are built in one place, and most first AdLever campaigns are built in under 20 minutes.
One thing to be clear about: AdLever doesn’t run social media ads. It places ads on streaming TV and on premium websites and apps, which is the inventory small businesses have been priced out of until now.
If you have a customer list: export it from your email tool, booking system, loyalty program or Wix contacts as a spreadsheet, and upload it in AdLever under Upload your own audience. AdLever matches the records to households and your ad runs on the TVs in those homes. Campaigns start at 1,000 matched households, so a list of past customers, lapsed customers and newsletter subscribers is usually plenty. The full walkthrough is in How to Advertise on Hulu, Netflix and Disney+ With AdLever.
If you don’t have a list, or it’s too small: build the audience inside AdLever instead. Under Purchase audience data, choose from pre-built audiences or build one from 600+ attributes, then set the ZIP codes or radius you serve. A furniture store can reach homeowners who moved in the last 12 months within 10 miles. A toy store can reach households with children in its three nearest ZIPs. Every household in a built audience is already verified. See No Customer List? Build Your TV Audience From 600+ Attributes.
If you already have a video, upload it. If you don’t, AdLever’s AI Video Creative builds a TV-ready spot from your offer, logo and a few lines of copy, and AI Display Creative makes the matching banners.
A Black Friday spot needs four things on screen: the offer, the dates, the location, and one way to act (a URL, a phone number, or “show this ad”). Everything else belongs on the website.
Run two spots, not one. The first runs from launch through Thanksgiving and tells people what is coming: “Black Friday at [store] starts Friday at 8. [One line on the offer.]” The second runs Friday through Monday and is the offer itself, with “ends Monday” on screen. Creative can’t be changed inside a running campaign, so set them up as two campaigns to the same audience, each with its own video: one scheduled from launch until Friday, and one that starts Friday and runs until the offer ends.
Black Friday promotion ideas that fit a 15-second spot: a doorbuster with a start time; a gift card bonus (“buy $100, get $25”) for restaurants, salons and spas; a membership or package deal for gyms and med spas; a dollars-off-plus-financing offer for furniture, mattresses and auto; a book-by-Monday discount for service businesses. One offer per spot.
Pick a start date, an end date and a daily budget. Streaming TV campaigns on AdLever start at about $26 a day. Run the first campaign from the week before Thanksgiving so your households see the offer several times before they decide where to shop, not once on the day.
Submit the campaign and it goes live on the streaming services your households use. Your reporting dashboard shows impressions, audience size, engagement and LeverScore™ as the campaign runs, so you can follow it through the weekend.
If you’d rather have someone walk you through the first one, book a demo and the AdLever team will set it up with you.
A month of Black Friday advertising on AdLever at the $26-a-day starting budget is about $780 in media, and it reaches only households you chose. Start it the week before Thanksgiving and it carries your offer through Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday and on into the December holiday season. Larger budgets buy more households and more repetition; the pricing page has the current tiers and what each includes. If you also want banners on the websites and apps those same households use, display campaigns start at $1,500 a month and are optional.
Working backward from Black Friday, here is a schedule with a day of slack at every step:
Starting later than Nov 13 still works. The campaign can be built and submitted in a day, but every day of lead time is a day your households see the ad before they decide where to shop.
Small Business Saturday is November 28, 2026, the day after Black Friday, and it is the one day of the year when shoppers go looking for a local business to support. A streaming TV campaign already running for Black Friday needs only a line in the offer spot to carry it: “Saturday is Small Business Saturday. Shop local at [store], [street].”
Three Small Business Saturday ideas that fit a household-targeted campaign:
Cyber Monday (November 30) closes the weekend. The offer spot’s “ends Monday” line does the work on TV, and if you added a display campaign, the same households see your banner on the websites and apps they browse Monday, with a direct link to the online offer. One audience, one message, carried across the four-day weekend.
And there is no reason to stop on December 1. The same audience and budget carry straight into holiday advertising for the rest of December; only the offer and the creative change.
Black Friday is November 27. Upload your customer list or build an audience in the neighborhoods you serve, make the spot, set a budget from about $26 a day, and your offer is on the streaming services those households watch before Thanksgiving.
Build an audience from your own contacts or verified household data, and reach those households on the devices they actually use.
